Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday asked the police to face the
attacks carried out by the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and its student
wing Islami Chhatra Shibir men with patience and courage. “Activists of Jamaat-Shibir are trying to foil the war crimes trial. They are attacking the law enforcers," the prime minister said.
She was addressing a programme on completion of 100 years of the Sarda Police Academy in Rajshahi.
The PM also hoped that the police personnel would be able to establish law and order by foiling the Jamaat-Shibir ill-motive, reports our Rajshahi correspondent.
